You wanna feel good about life, like the future is bright, as well as a little bit of sweet nostalgia? You can! While listening to extraordinary, veteran talent, you will be thoroughly satisfied as you experience the harmonies and genuine musical integrity of Pam Loe & Hipshot. This band has been together for over 35 years, weaving together a wide variety of musical styles that range from Pop Country, down-home traditional Country and Bluegrass, through timeless Standards, Folk favorites and Classic Rock and Roll.
Though Pam was heavily influenced by Folk, R&B and Rock and Roll in her early years, she most certainly knew and loved the music of Bob Wills, Hank Williams, Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, Lorretta Lynn, Dolly Parton, and Emmy Lou Harris. Having roots in Texas, it only made sense that Pam Loe & Hipshot should begin to emerge shortly after the release of the 1980 movie Urban Cowboy.
The Pam Loe & Hipshot band has played thousands of venues where the billings have proudly included The Judds, Dolly Parton, Michael Martin Murphey, John Schneider, John Anderson and Patty Loveless. That’s because this band is comprised of the absolute finest musicians and talented vocalists for the perfect blend, whether in an acoustic setting or fully amplified for the dance party atmosphere.
Pam Loe & Hipshot was featured at the L.I.F.E. (Love is Feeding Everyone) concerts at the Universal Amphitheater in Los Angeles, CA hosted by Dennis Weaver and on the New Seeker’s Jamaican Tour Hey There Georgie Girl and Like to Teach the World to Sing. This band has had ten years of return engagements for the Tournament of Roses Pre-Parade Equestrian Party at the Gene Autry Western Heritage Museum and is contracted for so many of Southern California’s exclusive engagements by top musical agents including Karla Ross Productions, Inc., Fortune Entertainment, Al Lampkin Entertainment, Inc., Sue-Del Agency, Joe Diamond Enterprises, etc.
From California to Arizona and abroad, the Queen Mary to Whisky Row to the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library, for corporate parties and weddings to County Fairs, Concerts in the Park, your local VFW halls, and back yard BBQ’s, this band stays busy and welcomes the opportunity to entertain!
